Subject: Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds Quarterly Statistics
Purpose: To inform Fund Managers, Self Managed Funds, UCITS and Self Managed UCITS for the submission of the Form QST-MC Version 13.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C455 on 02/07/2021 to inform the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), UCITS Management Companies (‘UCITS MC’), Self-Managed UCITS (‘SM UCITS’), Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds (‘SM AIFs’), Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘SM AIFLNP’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and Small AIFMs that must complete and submit to CySEC the Form QST-MC Version 13 (the "Form") for the Quarterly Statistics.
The Form must be completed and submitted to CySEC by all the Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation) by June 30, 2021. In this respect, Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers by June 30, 2021, but have not made use of their authorisation must also submit the Form.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’) by 15:00 hrs, Friday, July 30, 2021, at the latest.
CySEC notes that the Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
This Circular C455 also includes general comments for the Form, clarifications and information about the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to the CySEC.
