Subject: CIFs Quarterly Statistics (Form QST-CIF) – 31/12/2021 Submission
Purpose: To inform the CIFs for the latest version of the Form QST-CIF.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C481 on 30/12/2021 to inform the Cyprus Investment Firms (‘CIFs’) for the latest version of the Form QST-CIF (the ‘Form’), Version 7, for the Quarterly Statistics.
The Form must be completed and submitted to CySEC by all CIFs that were authorised by December 31, 2021. The CIFs that were authorised by December 31, 2021, but have not made use of their authorisation must also submit the Form.
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
The deadline for the submission of the Form is by 15:00 hrs, Monday, January 31, 2022, the latest. CySEC notes that no extension to this deadline shall be granted.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’).
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
CySEC also notes that failure to submit the Form will bear the administrative penalties of section 37(5) of the CySEC Law. CySEC further notes that it will not send any reminders to those CIFs, which fail to promptly and duly comply.
