Subject: Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds Quarterly Statistics – New Version
Purpose: To inform Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds for the submission of the Form QST-MC Version 16.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C496 on 07/04/2022 to inform the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), UCITS Management Companies (‘UCITS MC’), Self-Managed UCITS (‘SM UCITS’), Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds (‘SM AIFs’), Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘SM AIFLNP’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and Small AIFMs that they must complete and submit to CySEC the latest version of the Form QST-MC (the ‘Form’), Version 16.
The Form must be completed and submitted to CySEC by all Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation), by March 31, 2022. In this respect, Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers by March 31, 2022, but have not made use of their authorisation must also submit the Form.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’) by 15:00 hrs, Friday, May 6, 2022, at the latest.
It is noted that the Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received upon submission.
This Circular C496 includes the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to the CySEC and general comments for the Form.
