Subject: CIFs Quarterly Statistics (Form QST-CIF) – 31/12/2024 Submission
Purpose: To inform all CIFs that the Form RBSF-CIF will not be collected for the year 2024 and for the submission of Quarterly Statistics Form for reference date 31/12/2024.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C671 on 20/12/2024 to inform the Cyprus Investment Firms (‘CIFs’), that the Form RBSF-CIF will not be collected for the year 2024 until further notice. In order to make the collection of information more efficient, CySEC informs that some information requested in the Form RBSF-CIF, has been integrated in the new version of the Form QST-CIF (the ‘Form’). Therefore, CySEC urges all CIFs to read carefully all the information provided in this Circular C671.
Furthermore, all CIFs that were authorised by 31/12/2024, including those who have not made use of their authorization, must complete and submit to CySEC the Form QST-CIF, Version 15 (‘the Form’), for Q4 2024.
The deadline to submit the Form is by Monday, 03/02/2025, at the latest. The Form must be successfully submitted electronically, via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’). [the deadline for submissions of the Form to TRS is 5 weeks after each quarter end]
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
This Circular C671 also includes important information regarding the new version of the Form and other information for the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to CySEC.
