Subject: Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds Quarterly Statistics
Purpose: To inform Regulated Entities about a new version of the Form for the Quarterly Statistics.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C438 on 02/04/2021 to inform Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), UCITS Management Companies (‘UCITS MC’), Self-Managed UCITS (‘SM UCITS’), Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds (‘SM AIFs’), Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘SM AIFLNP’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and Small AIFMs, that a new version of the form QST-MC Version 12 (‘the Form’) is issued.
The Form must be completed and submitted to CySEC by all the above mentioned Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation), by March 31, 2021. In this respect, Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers by March 31, 2021, but have not made use of their authorisation must also submit the Form.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’) by 15:00 hrs, Friday, April 30, 2021, at the latest.
Upon submission, Regulated Entities are responsible to ensure that they have received a feedback file, i.e. an official submission confirmation dispatched by the TRS in the Outgoing directory. The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
