Subject: Risk Based Supervision Framework (the ‘RBS-F’) – Electronic submission of information for the year 2021 (Form RBSF-CIF) – updated version of the Form RBSF-CIF
Purpose: To inform CIFs that the Form RBSF-CIF is revised and there is a new deadline for submission.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C506 on 04/05/2022 to inform the Cyprus Investment Firms (the ‘CIFs’) that a new version of the Form RBSF-CIF Version 6 (‘the Form’) is issued.
This revised Form is issued due to a validation error in Section G of Form RBSF-CIF version 5, which may cause technical errors in the submission of the Form.
CySEC notes that this Circular C506 must be read together with the Circular C503 that was issued on 20/04/2022.
CySEC informs that as a result of the revision of the Form, the deadline for the submission of the Form will be extended by one week. Therefore, the deadline to submit the form is by 15:00 hrs, Friday, June 3, 2022, the latest.
CySEC further informs that the Form must be completed and successfully submitted to CySEC, by all CIFs that were authorised by December 31, 2021.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’).
