Subject: Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds Quarterly Statistics
Purpose: To inform the Self Managed UCITS and Funds and the UCITS Management Companies and AIFMs for the submission of the form QST-MC Version 17.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C532 on 03/10/2022 to inform the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), UCITS Management Companies (‘UCITS MC’), Self-Managed UCITS (‘SM UCITS’), Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds (‘SM AIFs’), Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘SM AIFLNP’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and the Small AIFMs, for the obligation to submit the QST-MC Version 17 (‘the Form’).
The deadline for the submission of the Form is by 15:00 hrs, Monday, October 31, 2022, at the latest.
The Form must be completed and submitted to CySEC by all Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation), by September 30, 2022. The Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers by September 30, 2022, but have not made use of their authorisation must also submit the Form.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’). The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
This Circular C532 also includes information for the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to the CySEC and other general comments for the Form.
