Subject: Council of Europe, EU and State Revenue Service of the Republic of Latvia’s common workshop ‘Enhancing the effectiveness of implementation of EU sanctions by the private sector’
Purpose: To inform Regulated Entities for a workshop organised by the Council of Europe and EU in cooperation with the State Revenue Service of the Republic of Latvia.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C568 on 19/04/2023 to inform the Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs), Administrative Service Providers (ASPs), UCITS Management Companies, Internally managed UCITS, AIFMs, Internally managed AIFs, Internally managed AIFLNPs, Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs, Small AIFMs under Law 81(I)/2020 and Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs), that the Council of Europe and EU in cooperation with the State Revenue Service of the Republic of Latvia will organise the Workshop titled ‘Enhancing the effectiveness of implementation of EU sanctions by the private sector’(‘Workshop’).
The Workshop will take place on April 24 between 14:00 – 18:15 (EEST).
The Workshop will offer an opportunity to discuss and exchange on challenges and good practices in preventing sanction’s evasion.
This Workshop is organised as a hybrid event, thus private sector’s obliged entities from the EU Member States are invited.
CySEC informs that interested parties can use a registration form to confirm their online participation by 20 April 2023. On the same day they will receive the link for joining the Workshop to the email addresses provided through the registration form.
CySEC notes that it would be beneficial for the obliged entities to attend the Workshop, therefore calls the obliged entities who are interested to proceed with registration.
