Subject: Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds Quarterly Statistics – Submission for Q2 2023 (30/06/2023)
Purpose: To inform Regulated Entities for the submission of Funds Quarterly Statistics form QST-MC Version 19.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C581 on 23/03/2023 to inform the UCITS Management Companies, Internally Managed UCITS, Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds, Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘AIFLNP’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and Small AIFMs, for the obligation to submit the QST-MC Version 19 (‘the Form’).
The deadline for the submission of the Form is by Friday, 28/07/2023, at the latest.
The Form must be completed and submitted to CySEC by all the above Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation), by June 30, 2023. The Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers by June 30, 2023, but have not made use of their authorisation must also submit the Form.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’).
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
This Circular C581 also includes important information when completing the number of Undertaking of Collective Investments (UCIs), information for the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to the CySEC and other general comments for the Form.
