Subject: Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds Quarterly Statistics – Submission for Q3 2023 (30/09/2023)
Purpose: To inform AIFMs, UCITS Managers and Self managed Funds and UCITS for a new version of the Quarterly Statistics Form.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C597 on 28/09/2023 to inform the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds, UCITS Management Companies, Internally Managed UCITS, Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘AIFLNPs’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and the Small AIFMs, that a new version of the form QST-MC, Version 20 (‘the Form’), is issued.
The above mentioned Regulated Entities must submit the Form the latest by Tuesday, 31/10/2023.
Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation) by 30/09/2023 but have not made use of their authorization, must also submit the Form.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically, via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’).
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
This Circular C597 refers also to the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to CySEC and other important information for completing and submitting the Form.
