Subject: Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds Quarterly Statistics – Submission for Q4 2023 (31/12/2023)
Purpose: To inform AIFMs, UCITS Managers and Internally Managed Funds and UCITS for a new version of the Quarterly Statistics Form.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C613 on 05/01/2024 to inform the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds, UCITS Management Companies, Internally Managed UCITS, Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘AIFLNPs’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and the Small AIFMs, that a new version of the form QST-MC, Version 21 (‘the Form’), is issued, for the submission of Quarterly Statistics for Q4 2023.
The Form must be completed and submitted to CySEC by all Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation), by 31/12/2023. Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers by 31/12/2023 but have not made use of their authorisation must also submit the Form.
The above mentioned Regulated Entities must submit the Form the latest by Friday, 02/02/2024.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically, via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’).
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
This Circular C613 refers also to the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to CySEC and other important information for completing and submitting the Form.
