Subject: Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds Quarterly Statistics – Submission for Q2 2024 (30/06/2024)
Purpose: To inform AIFMs, Small AIFMs, Internally Managed Funds, AIFLNPs, UCITS Managers and Internally Managed UCITS for the obligation to submit the Quarterly Statistics Form.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C652 on 08/07/2024 to inform the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds, UCITS Management Companies, Internally Managed UCITS, Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘AIFLNPs’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and the Small AIFMs, for the obligation to submit the Quarterly Statistics Form, QST-MC, Version 21 (‘the Form’), for Q2 2024.
The above mentioned Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation) by 30/06/2024 but have not made use of their authorization, must also submit the Form.
The Form must be successfully submitted via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’), the latest by Wednesday, 31/07/2024.
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
This Circular C652 refers also to the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to CySEC and other important information for completing and submitting the Form.
