Subject: Risk Based Supervision Framework (the ‘RBS-F’) – Electronic submission of information for the year 2024 (Form RBSF-CASP)
Purpose: To inform CASPs for the obligation to submit the Form RBSF-CASP, Version 2.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C682 on 12/02/2025 to inform the Crypto Asset Services Providers (‘CASPs’) which are registered with CySEC, providing services in or from Cyprus, that a new version of the Form RBSF-CASP (‘the Form’), Version 2, is issued.
This Form is issued on an annual basis and its scope is the collection of various statistical information.
CySEC informs that the Form must be completed and successfully submitted to CySEC, by all CASPs that were registered with CySEC and were operational as of 31/12/2024. In this respect, CASPs registered with CySEC, but not operational as of 31/12/2024, must also submit the Form.
The deadline for the submission of the Form is by Wednesday, 19/03/2025, at the latest.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’).
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
This Circular C682 also refers to the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to the CySEC and general comments for the Form.
