Subject: EU Sanctions Helpdesk
Purpose: To inform Regulated Entities of the official launch of the EU Sanctions Helpdesk.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C697 on 07/04/2025 to inform the CIFs, ASPs, UCITS Management Companies, Internally managed UCITS, AIFMs, Internally managed AIFs, Internally managed AIFLNPs, Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs, Small AIFMs under Law 81(I)/2020 and Crypto Asset Service Providers, of the official launch of the EU Sanctions Helpdesk (the ‘EU Sanctions Helpdesk’ or the ‘Helpdesk’).
The Helpdesk is a service designed to support European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in complying with EU restrictive measures. It will manage a dedicated website featuring sanctions-related information, country-specific guidance, events, tips, lessons learned, and more.
The Helpdesk covers all UN and EU restrictive measures, providing SMEs with the necessary information to manage the challenges of sanctions compliance.
CySEC notes that this new tool/service is of great support to the Regulated Entities, therefore encourages them to explore partnership opportunities and to adopt its usage as a good practice.
